I ♥ Faces - Fix it Friday

Ok, here I am again. I LOVE the Fix it Friday at I ♥ Faces. I love working on the photos to make them as good as I can. I really enjoyed this one. I thought at first glance that it would be really hard, but I think it came out ok in the end. Again I dont know what I did, just clicked til I liked it. Here is the little cherub chops before photo.

And here is my fix on it. I am totally addicted to this frame. You might have already noticed that.

Wow, beautiful... you've outdone yourself on this one, Jen :)

What editor are you using by the way?

I use ACDSee, but also picnik.com too, cos they have some fun stuff.

Great work ♥

Thanks Jac, I alternate between Paint Shop Pro X2 and Photoshop CS3. I use Paint shop pro most because i find it more user friendly, but I use the photoshop for the actions. I havent heard of the first one you mentioned but have heard of the picnik one - havent seen it though. You ought to have a go at the fix it fridays.. it is fun.

Yeah, I've been thinking about it. I don't take portraits as a rule, so maybe I should let myself loose on someone else's! :)
ACDSee is pretty basic, my uncle gave it to me. It's useful for exposure, colour fixes, etc.
Picnik is fun... check it out.
Where did you get the PaintShop Pro and Photoshop? Did you buy them (how much were they?) or did they *fall off the back of a truck* ?

Very nice. I like the frame. And the way you cropped her.

the crop is really great on this. it makes a kind of monotonous photo really stand out. nice job!

Cherub Chops is delightful!

I Can't use my scanner to scan stuff in. It will print & photocopy, but for some reason, it doesn't have the right progeramme or software for the scanning function.

I'd love to play like this. GG is rather talented in this department as well.

You did a great job with that photo! I love it. I need to get some serious photo editing software for myself. The Evil Twin has CS3 with Photoshop, but it's on his computer... I need to call them and see if we can install it on my laptop too (we did purchase the software new).
