breathing..... in out in out

calmer now

I have been doing a lot of thought..... and trying to create a plan

We have a GP appointment on monday arvo to get stitches removed, so will have a chat to him about a few things

My thoughts are heading along the hormone lines....

this kid has had MAJOR pmt for a long time now. she gets absolutely murderous and this injury happened during one of these episodes. I am wondering if maybe putting her on the pill or something might balance things out a bit. at the very least, with the pill, we will know when the storm is about to hit......

I have never really suffered pmt, aside from the odd outburst, and dont know if the pill can even help - is anyone more knowledgeable about this then me?? maybe even some kind of mild relaxant taken for a few days prior or something..... just pondering aloud. dunno

any thoughts??

sorry for all the swear words yesterday - i could have murdered someone myself.....

looking forward to having a quiet movie night at home tonight with the offspring. i have hired Enchanted , have maltesers and chips, will pop some popcorn and put it through the big speakers. His lordship is going to a trivia night with an ex workmate.

hope it is as relaxing in reality as it is in my mind.....

The first place to start is with the GP, and a 2nd opinion ,,,,if in doubt ....

I've been on the pill before for something similar, but can't remember if it was for this reason or not, I think it was. I do remember that my PMT actually made me suicidal. I'm not saying this will happen, but hormones can exagerrate what is happining underneath. I think that dr was a total prick, and you should definitely get a 2nd opinion, if you can manage to convince her. I'm so sorry this insidious *shit* has worked it's way into your life. I know how tuff it is. If you ever need to ask anything, please email me Jen, you're more than welcome to. I don't have all the answers, but you never know :)

Oh and achelle is right - popcorn can seriously damage the sound quality of your speakers...

:)

Good luck and god/dess bless. Praying for you both

Hi Jen,

I read a friend of mines blog and stumbled across yours. I am terriby sorry to hear about your trouble with your daughter. I hope you don't mind me offering some suggestions.

Relationships Australia can assist with alot of things ranging from your relationship with your daughter (how to deal with the stress and how to try to better communicate on her level) to possibly referring your daughter to a psychologist (don't mistake this for a psychiatrist) psychologists are a cheaper version, can't prescribe meds and often will know if its time to refer to further help. (not always necessary).

With putting your girl on the pill? A great idea if you ask me. Also if you can manage to get her to take evening primrose oil - this is a great balancer for mid month madness, I am a sufferer myself and saw a naturopath about 3 years ago and have been an EPO convert for a while. Hope this helps a little and good luck with it all.

Aye to all of the above.....

Actually, I don't know anything about popcorn on the speakers.... except that I don't like popcorn... unless it's the sticky caramel or lollygobble Blissbomb varieties.... xoxo
