Cinnamon & Honey

I am posting this mainly for myself, so I wouldn't lose it - thought you might be interested too.

(I have just made four more SoulCollage cards. Will be posting them to my other blog soon.)

Bet the drug companies won't like this one getting around. Facts on honey and cinnamon: It is found that a mixture of honey and cinnamon cures most diseases. Honey is produced in most of the countries of the world. Scientists of today also accept honey as a "Ram Ban" (very effective) medicine for all kinds of diseases. Honey can be used without any side effects for any kind of diseases. Today's science says that even though honey is sweet, if taken in the right dosage as a medicine, it does not harm diabetic patients. Weekly World News, a magazine in Canada, on its issue dated 17 January, 1995 has given the following list of diseases that can be cured by honey and cinnamon as researched by western scientists:

HEART DISEASES: Make a paste of honey and cinnamon powder, apply on bread, instead of jelly and jam, and eat it regularly for breakfast. It reduces the cholesterol in the arteries and saves the patient from heart attack. Also those who have already had an attack, if they do this process daily, they are kept miles away from the next attack. Regular use of the above process relieves loss of breath and strengthens the heart beat. In America and Canada, various nursing homes have treated patients successfully and have found that as you age, the arteries and veins lose their flexibility and get clogged; honey and cinnamon revitalize the arteries and veins.

ARTHRITIS: Arthritis patients may take daily, morning, and night, one cup of hot water with two spoons of honey and one small teaspoon of cinnamon powder. If taken regularly even chronic arthritis can be cured. In a recent research conducted at the Copenhagen University, it was found that when the doctors treated their patients with a mixture of one tablespoon Honey and half teaspoon Cinnamon powder before breakfast, they found that within a week, out of the 200 people so treated, practically 73 patients were totally relieved of pain, and within a month, mostly all the patients who could not walk or move around because of arthritis started walking without pain.

BLADDER INFECTIONS: Take two tablespoons of cinnamon powder and one teaspoon of honey in a glass of lukewarm water and drink it. It destroys the germs in the bladder.

TOOTHACHE: Make a paste of one teaspoon of cinnamon powder and five teaspoons of honey and apply on the aching tooth. This may be applied three times a day until the tooth stops aching.

CHOLESTEROL: Two tablespoons of honey and three teaspoons of Cinnamon Powder mixed in 16 ounces of tea water, given to a cholesterol patient were found to reduce the level of cholesterol in the blood by 10 percent within two hours. As mentioned for arthritic patients, if taken three times a day, any chronic cholesterol is cured. According to information received in the said journal, pure honey taken with food daily relieves complaints of cholesterol. (By the way. if you're taking cholesterol medicine STOP! They all contain STATIN which weaken your muscles...including YOUR HEART and none has been shown to stop heart attacks or strokes!!!!

COLDS: Those suffering from common or severe colds should take one tablespoon lukewarm honey with 1/4 spoon cinnamon powder daily for three days. This process will cure most chronic cough, cold, and clear the sinuses.

UPSET STOMACH: Honey taken with cinnamon powder cures stomach ache and also clears stomach ulcers from the root.

GAS: According to the studies done in India and Japan, it is revealed that if honey is taken with cinnamon powder the stomach is relieved of gas.

IMMUNE SYSTEM: Daily use of honey and cinnamon powder strengthens the immune system and protects the body from bacteria and viral attacks. Scientists have found that honey has various vitamins and iron in large amounts. Constant use of honey strengthens the white blood corpuscles to fight bacteria and viral diseases.

INDIGESTION: Cinnamon powder sprinkled on two tablespoons of honey taken before food relieves acidity and digests the heaviest of meals.

INFLUENZA: A scientist in Spain has proved that honey contains a natural Ingredient which kills the influenza germs and saves the patient from flu.

LONGEVITY: Tea made with honey and cinnamon powder, when taken regularly, arrests the ravages of old age. Take four spoons of honey, one spoon of cinnamon powder and three cups of water and boil to make like tea. Drink 1/4 cup, three to four times a day. It keeps the skin fresh and soft and arrests old age. Life spans also increases and even a 100 year old, starts performing the chores of a 20-year-old.

PIMPLES: Three tablespoons of honey and one teaspoon of cinnamon powder paste. Apply this paste on the pimples before sleeping and wash it next morning with warm water. If done daily for two weeks, it removes pimples from the root.

SKIN INFECTIONS: Applying honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts on the affected parts cures eczema, ringworm and all types of skin infections.

WEIGHT LOSS: Daily in the morning one half hour before breakfast on an empty stomach and at night before sleeping, drink honey and cinnamon powder boiled in one cup of water. If taken regularly, it reduces the weight of even the most obese person. Also, drinking this mixture regularly does not allow the fat to accumulate in the body even though the person may eat a high calorie diet.

CANCER: Recent research in Japan and Australia has revealed that advanced cancer of the stomach and bones have been cured successfully. Patients suffering from these kinds of cancer should daily take one tablespoon of honey with one teaspoon of cinnamon powder for one month three times a day.

FATIGUE: Recent studies have shown that the sugar content of honey is more helpful rather than being detrimental to the strength of the body. Senior citizens, who take honey and cinnamon powder in equal parts, are more alert and flexible. Dr. Milton, who has done research, says that a half tablespoon of honey taken in a glass of water and sprinkled with cinnamon powder, taken daily after brushing and in the afternoon at about 3:00 p.m. when the vitality of the body starts to decrease, increases the vitality of the body within a week.

BAD BREATH: People of South America, first thing in the morning, gargle with one teaspoon of honey and cinnamon powder mixed in hot water, so their breath stays fresh throughout the day.

HEARING LOSS: Daily morning and night honey and Cinnamon powder, taken in equal parts restore hearing.

Remember when we were kids? We had toast with real butter and cinnamon sprinkled on it!

Yawn

Am a very tired girl.

Sat up late last night staring at this screen, looking, playing, reading. Thoroughly enjoying myself. Consequence - had to go and get eldest from the frickin all night movie marathon this morning at 6am. Grrrrrrrr. Bloody sun wasnt even up and the fog was so thick i could hardly see my nose.

Had an ok day at back passage yesterday, even tho i didnt lay eyes on our absent sister. IN between showers we had a yummy lunch, and cause it is a caravan park, didnt see much of the little boys. much good. The dads took the boys down to the mud puddle waterfront and allowed them to slide around in the mud water. Some very smelly, muddy, excited boys was the result of that little escapade. Oh well.... it kinda washes off.

Lazy lazy day today.

The shack is a total shit fight, there is bum nut wrappings everywhere and random stuff on every surface. I kid you not. Must make another coffee.... back in a minute.

aaaaagggggggghhhhhhhh - thats better.....

I always struggle to get moving after i have had to wake up too early. Kid that went to all night movie marathon came home and slept for an hour and a half then had to go to work for the day. Am thinking she will be a bit slow today - hope she doesnt fall asleep in the chip vat.

Glad to hear that the YAAD information evening went well last night. Wish I could have been there. I have gained a lot from this past 9/10 months from the course. I think because I grew up as the only daughter and 3 brothers - having 'sisters' in my life is very important to me. I am very happy with how close we have all become. Continuing on this journey is not even a question in my mind. It is the natural follow on from me as i am now. Does that make sense???

Oh well.... better go and do something.

Anyone who would like a huge belly laugh, should read the comments in the post before this one. Good one 'Chelle!!!

Well, now its Farkin Saturday, and I have survived four teenagers in the house for a sleepover. Even the random boy that dropped in at 9.30 and stayed til i kicked him out at 11. Hmmm - the fun starts................... NOW.

Tomorrow we are supposed to go and visit my brother and his family at the caravan park at back passage where they are spending easter. Not looking good weather wise. Cant wait to spend the day sitting under a dripping tarp with annoying children (most of them mine) who are all on chocolate highs. Woo Hoo.................. not.

Well, best go.

I have a flyer to create.

A gift voucher to buy.

A swan to polish.

Coffee to drink.

mmmm

fun
as they are saying on Fox8 - may the easter bunny bring you lots of fancy chickens bum nuts tomorrow.

Wednesday...

Here it is .... Wednesday

Life has improved somewhat since my last pist. I was having a shocker. Have been running around like a mad chook today trying to shop for Easter. Frickking hell, bloody expensive chocolate. I have cut waaayyyyy down on what I used to buy for everyone. We had to. No money will do that to you.

Also went and got one of my boy's birthday presents today, and a damn good idea it is too. (if i do say so myself) I got him a Junior Membership to the Knights. Cost me $30 - he gets a card (he will be wrapt) a birthday card sent to him, which is apparently signed by the Players, an 08 poster, a members cap with Member 08 embroidered on the back and free entry into all home games. What a bargain. Plus invitations to things such as breakfasts etc. He will be stoked. They have a $15 one, which has all of the above except entry to the games. Might even get it for his little best mates birthday in a few weeks time.

Went and had a drs appointment today to discuss how i am going on my happy pills. He is happy. I am happy (mostly) and i am still on only half the dose he originally prescribed for me. This is good. He sent me for a blood test for the blood disorder i had (remission) - i went to the place at lambton with Julie. She is amazing. I have really deep veins and she finds them first go every time. Bonus. It doesnt even sting a little bit when she does it. I can highly recommend her. Cept I opened the front door and blood ran out everywhere.... I said, I only came in to give a little bit of blood, not all of it!!!

Oh well, better go. do something. house looks like it has been ransacked while i was away. damn maid, i think I will have to let her go.

Hopefuly will make it to Reiki tonight.

Might see you there...

The Rock

The Rock made an appearance, with little trouble in the end. Ha... 'the end'..... get it?? Sorry, bad joke

Awesome day had by all yesterday at the Worlds Greatest Shave. Amazing beautiful ladies with no hair. Truly inspiring. I would never be able to do that. nuh huh, not me. I am filled with admiration and awe at their sacrifice. And we managed to raise a shit load of money... all good. Well done all involved.

I have some bottles of Australian Bush Flower Essences here that I made up to sell yesterday, still left over. If anyone would like to purchase them I am selling them for $8 per bottle (plus postage if necessary) just to get rid of them. Normally I sell them for $12 per bottle, the health food shops sell the same thing for about $18. I have as follows....

  • Emergency Essence - Promotes ability to cope and helps ease panic, distress, fear etc. Administer this remedy every hour or more frequently if necessary until the person feels better. May also be placed into a spray bottle containing water and sprayed around the environment. (two only)

  • Space Clearing Essence - Creates sacred, safe and harmonious environments. Clears and releases environments with built up negative emotional, mental and psychic energies. Great for clearing tense situations and environments and restoring balance. (two only)

  • Woman Essence - To encourage a woman’s own innate strength and beauty through life’s seasons and cycles of change. Harmonises any imbalances and emotions through puberty or menopause. (two only)

  • Chakra Blaster - For anyone who desires to operate at an optimum level. Balances each of the main 7 Chakra’s plus the High Heart Chakra. (two only)

If you are interested, just see me at the Cottage, or email me here with your request and I will send you my bank account details.

going to the euro to drink latte with chelle for her birthday tomorrow - coolies

bye - off to soccer training now (not me silly, the kid)

Oh dear

Yes, Kidney Stones are a bit painful.

Poor boy, spent 14 hours in ER, got doped to the eyeballs on morphine etc and the rock still hasnt made an appearance.

It is a whopping 3mm in diameter..... apparently this hurts, a lot.

I might be a total bitch but I cant help (silently of course, only in my head and to you guys) but compare it to the diameter of the three babies heads I pushed out of my nether regions......

A sick male is a pathetic sight is it not

oh well, better go and top up the hot water bottle again,

no rest for the wicked.

pft, I might get some sleep tonight............... hopefully.

Hmmmm

MIA?? you ask Cyndy. Well, technichally no. I have been uploading my cards onto my SoulCollage blog - and having a lovely time too i might add. But I thought I better pist on this one just so it didnt feel neglected.....

What a whirlwind few days it has been.

Friday night was shitty cause Brad didnt come home til late, 8.30ish, and I didnt even think of coming over and missing out on a cup of coffee like Renata. Oh well...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MAUREEN
I wish i could have come, it looked like much fun.
Saturday was busy busy busy - running around like a fly of the blue arsed variety. Shopping, teaching my niece how to use PowerPoint (she is too scared to ask her teacher {grrrrr} as she was away that lesson), shopping, cooking, cleaning, washing. blah blah blah
I went out for dinner and a few drinks on Saturday night with my friends (yes Lisa, I do have them) Lea and Rhonda. I think I have mentioned this before but I started Kinder with these awesome ladies and we still get together regularly. Love them. Love going out with them. My sides ached from laughing. Very very schmick. Got home very late though... not good....
Yesterday my nephew came over with his three kids for a BBQ lunch - nice. Hubby had a 'stitch' after lunch and I told him to drink more water. All went well, everyone quiet and in bed. Me up here late playing my new obsession Scramble on facebook. Next thing he comes charging out, white as a sheet with massive pain in his side. (well, massive for a male anyway but we wont go there). Rolling around in agony. So we wakes up eldest daughter and tell her I am taking him to hospital, dropping him off and be back soon - listen for your brother.
Came home - too agitated to sleep. 1.30am I rang and they hadnt even seen him yet. I went to bed and didnt really sleep - got up at 5. I rang again and it turns out he is growing his own rock garden in his kidney. Silly boy.
Am waiting here now to hear what happens next. I am not going up until I know if i will have to take clothes etc.
Hmmmm a bit of time has passed and he still hasnt got back to me. I might pack a bag and go up anyway. Yay - parking at the John. Should be lots of fun - will take my chequebook.
Anyhoo - better go and see how the poor dear is, and what they are going to do about it.
I dont know much about these things.
I am sure to find out soon though.
Have fun
Jen

Monday...

It is monday again. I have been working on my new SoulCollage blog, and have managed to upload 4 cards so far. Will keep working on it as I now have about 17 cards. Lisa has created one too, which has an amazing number of cards uploaded - woo hoo, and Kathleen's is as inspiring as ever.

We had an awesome day at group on Saturday. Faerie-mess-with-your-head Mary led us on an amazing journey into a dream that we had to remember and bring along to group. The insights that were revealed, and the cards that turned up for the dream symbols were mind blowing. There was not even one time that any of us didnt drop our head to the table in amazement when each card was turned over. What a valuable process. I had previously thought that with only 15 or so cards it would be a while before I would be able to do any kind of 'reading' with them, I thought I would have to have many more cards in my deck. Not so. Far out brussels sprout.

Was led to this interesting quiz regarding beliefs and by doing the quiz it will 'tell' you what belief system you are most aligned with. I ended up with 100% Neopagan. Not a surprise, and Catholic was the bottom of my list - oh yes, I totally agree with that. Interesting - and some of the questions were food for thought as well. Bit of fun, even though I hate being boxed into anything - thinking myself as 'no fixed religion' as I do, kind of none but all.

Anyhoo, am going to get ready for Monday - kids at school and hubby at home with a day off. I have my appointment with Melinda this morning and then we are going to SJ's for lunch. Avoidance tactics of all housework will have to cease too, with a whirlwind dash due to happen five minutes ago... damn.

Have a nice day my friends.
