Some shots of our lake...

Here is the view of the wetlands from our front door, this area is usually dry, only getting puddles after heavy rain. Below you can see the 'lake' stretches almost all the way to Hexham.

Here is almost the same view at sunrise. Very pretty.

one more closer view, across to shortland.

Thanks for your blog.. I know all about the teeth thing, she is my third one going through it! And the stupid Drs reckon that there is no link between teething and nappy rashes!!! Only my fab Dr back home in Vic ever agreed that is a link. Glad that you are all Ok, after reading your older blogs, you are one brave family to cope through all of that. Take care xx

There were many such lakes by the road on the way to bacxkpassage yesterday! It was quite pretty really...a whole new flavour on the old cow paddocks!

So exotic...especially with the power lines in the background sizzling away. Renata.

The valuation might be a good idea from an insurance value aspect, Jen. Although properties with a water view aren't all that unusual at the moment. Quite a few even come with their own moat. Have you got one. I can picture it now...
